Today Yesterday we headed to Australia Zoo with Great Friends – actually we meet Kyle’s Best Friends at the Zoo – and for once in my life we were early instead of late! And we had so much fun. None of us wanted to leave.
We got to listen to the Talk about Tortoises, and learnt that they don’t have teeth, their eyesight is not the best and if they fall onto their backs then they can’t turn back over without assistance.
From there we went to the Otter Information {show} talk. Where we meet up with our Great Friends. We slowly made our way over to the food court. Once the kids were satisfied {the only time they are quiet is when they are eating} it was agreed that the Petting Zoo would be our next spot. Purchasing the Food for the farm animals and food for the Kangaroos we were all sorted for the day.
Before we knew it {time goes fast when you are having fun} the Croc Show was starting so we hurried on over to the Crocoseum. Gosh they have an amazing display of Birds, Snakes and a Funny Alligator display where they ask a Member of the audience to feed to the “Croc” – mind you its not really an audience member!
On the way to the Tigers we got to see Camels….
Have to say that the Tiger Show was all of our Favorite. Incredible how such a Strong Powerful animal can be feed Milk from the handler and then Meat, climbing up a Tree and Jumping high for the food – how does it not eat its handlers?
So very funny that Cameron is next to Cameron – yeah our Boy {in the yellow t-shirt} is Cameron and the croc is Cameron! Love how they got to meet each other
We had so much fun at the Australia Zoo with our Great Friends, and we loved every minute with them. So lucky to have great friends and so lucky to have the Yearly Passes. We are going to miss living here, and miss not being able to catch up with our wonderful friends – they have three sweet boys, who get along well with our boys. And their Mama is so gorgeous – Sure hope we get to catch up again soon.
Do You Have Great Friends?
Cheers
Lisa
